The Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice (JoPPP) was established in 2008 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, has emerged as a leading international pharmacy journal. JoPPP is indexed in Scopus and PubMed Central, is ranked Q1, and has played a pivotal role in shaping global pharmaceutical policy. The World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized the journal for fulfilling a unique global niche.


The JoPPP International Scientific Conference has previously been held:

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2019, 2020)
In Sarawak, Kuching, East Malaysia (2024)
In Bangkok, Thailand (2025)
Based on its growing body of research articles, presentations, and best practices, JoPPP will hold the “5th JOPPP IMPACT MONGOLIA - 2026” conference in collaboration with Etugen University on November 11–13, 2026.

Introduction to Etugen University

Etugen University aims to rank among Asia’s top 100 young universities by 2030 and compete among the world’s top 100 within 50 years. Our mission is to develop students into professionals with strong character and competencies, making the university a nationally and internationally recognized, research-driven, and innovative institution.

Etugen University, established in 2002, is a nationally accredited higher education institution that has successfully undergone national advanced level accreditation three times. As of the 2025–2026 academic year, the University comprises 6 constituent schools including Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Engineering and Technology, and Humanities. It operates with over 8000 students, 357 faculty members and researchers, and 10122 graduates. The University delivers its education and research activities through 22 bachelor’s degree programs and 10 master’s and doctoral programs. At present, 19 academic programs have received national accreditation by the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation, while 9 programs have received international accreditation from ASIIN (Germany) and 5 programs from ACBSP (United States of America).

The university’s strategic plan focuses on:

  • Enhancing education and the learning environment to meet international standards.
  • Advancing research and innovation to international benchmarks.
  • Establishing national and international recognition through partnerships and accreditation.

As part of its quality assurance efforts, more than 16 programs have been nationally accredited. Additionally, 5 Business Administration programs have received international accreditation from ACBSP (USA), while Nursing, Biomedicine, Medicine, and Dentistry programs have successfully received international accreditation from ASIIN, Germany.
